HO-6 INSURANCE COVERAGE EXPIRATION NOTICE
IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUIRED
Dear Camelot By the Sea Homeowner,
We have been informed by USI Insurance Services that they are unable to find a carrier to provide competitive pricing for the bulk HO-6 insurance program covering all units at Camelot By the Sea HOA, Inc..
Therefore, on May 26, 2020 your current HO-6 policy that was previously secured for you by the HOA will expire. You must take action prior to May 26, 2020 to ensure you do not incur a lapse in this essential insurance coverage.
A HO-6 policy is a necessity for condominium owners and includes insurance on all your personal belongings, furniture, fixtures and equipment, loss of rental income or loss of use and provides a liability insurance component in the event of an accident or injury in your unit.
If you have a mortgage, your lender most likely requires a HO-6 policy. In addition, if you rent your unit your rental agent most likely also requires a policy with adequate coverage.
It is your responsibility to contact your insurance agent and obtain your private policy. Should you not obtain this coverage you may be in violation of your mortgage agreement, your rental agreement and the master deed which governs your liability and responsibility in regards to your condominium property.
The Board of Directors has enacted a policy that all owners must obtain a HO-6 policy and provide proof of coverage to the HOA property manager (Resort Association Management) no later than May 26,2020.
We urge you to contact your insurance agent immediately to purchase a policy and obtain a declaration page in order to provide proof of coverage to the HOA. A copy of this declaration page must be forwarded to Resort Association Management. You will also receive this letter via US Mail. For your convenience, we have enclosed a prepaid postage envelope addressed to RAM for this purpose. You may also fax your declaration page to 843-497-8577 or email a scanned copy to firstname.lastname@example.org
With the hurricane season upon us, we urge you to contact your insurance agent or any of the agencies listed below. The insurance agency contact information is provided to assist you in this process. It should not be construed as an endorsement or recommendation by the Board of Directors or your association management company.

THE 2020 HOMEOWNERS ANNUAL MEETING WILL BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 6, 2020 AT 1:00pm IN THE 2ND FLOOR CONFERENCE ROOM AT MAGNOLIAS ON 26TH AVE NORTH IN MYRTLE BEACH
Dear Camelot Homeowner,
Please see the schedule to paint the remaining halls and repair and paint the hall ceilings. Oceana is aware of the schedule and will rent units accordingly however, if you are NOT on the Oceana rental program, please shift guests away from these floors on these dates if at all possible. We would like to shut down the entire floor. We may be able to work around any monthly rentals and owners who live onsite. Please let me know if any of your unit(s) will be occupied during the dates below. If not, please block your units accordingly. We have tried to minimize the down time. Also, we will do our best to stay on this schedule. Weather will be our enemy. We here at RAM wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season.
Floors 2 & 3 December 9th -11th
Floors 4 & 5 December 16th - 18th
Floors 10 & 11 January 6th - 8th
Floors 12 & 14 January 13th-15th
Floors 15 & 16 January 20th - 22nd
We will begin the hallway carpet around mid January 2020 for floors 2 through 9. This should not require a shutdown of the floors.

Dear Camelot Owner,
As you may have seen over the past few months the front side (street side) of Camelot By the Sea has become dirty and faded. We are pleased to let you know we have been approved and have selected a contractor to begin the waterproofing project on the building and parking garage. In an effort to have the street-side view of the parking garage addressed first, we will begin pressure washing starting tomorrow April 26th. This should have a minimum impact on guests and owners. It is our intent to have the West, North and South walls completed by June 1st. On a side note we have closed the 10th floor of the parking garage so the contractor can store their materials and rig the building for their work. Periodically, during this process, we will be asking guests and owners to move vehicles on lower floors. If we cannot get the vehicles moved then the contractor will place a car cover over the vehicle(s).
After the garage is complete, the contractor will be handling smaller areas and should not affect the owners or their guests.
We will have more information about Fall schedule in the coming weeks. We will not be painting the ocean front side or deck coating balconies until a later date, potentially in 2020.
