RE: COVID-19 Pandemic Building Operational Plan
We, the Board of Directors, along with the on-site rental team and property manager, hope this message finds you and your family safe and healthy. There has been some confusion regarding our recent communication to owners regarding the recent action by the City of Myrtle Beach and the Governor of South Carolina. We have confirmed with the City that owners that participate in a rental program of any kind are prohibited from checking in to their vacation rental property.
Therefore, we continue to advise that you should not visit the property at this time. The Governor of South Carolina has declared a state of emergency and issued several executive orders in an effort to address the significant public health, economic, and other impacts associated with COVID-19 and to mitigate the resulting burdens on healthcare providers, individuals and business in the State of South Carolina. The Governor has activated the South Carolina National Guard. Restaurants, amusements and other amenities in Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach are closed. All but essential businesses have been ordered to close. Public beach access points, public piers and boat ramps are closed. Law enforcement has been ordered to disperse gatherings of 3 or more individuals in public places.
If you do not rent your unit through any channel (on-site, off-site, self-managed, VRBO, etc …) and travel to the State, the Governor of South Carolina has issued an executive order calling for a mandatory 14-day self-quarantine period for those entering the state from areas in the country with high rates of infection such as New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Louisiana.
In light of the strong and ever-unfolding series of orders and directives coming from the Governor’s office and our local municipal leaders, it is important that all owners stay informed of the measures that we are taking to stay in compliance, slow the spread of the Pandemic and reduce operating costs. To that end, you will receive under separate cover (1) COVID-19 Pandemic Building Operational Plan that will govern the use and occupancy of all units at the Resort until such time as the restrictions are lifted, (2) Comments from John Pedersen, Myrtle Beach City Manager.
We regret that these regulations and limitations are necessary, but in the face of this unprecedented event, we must protect the health and safety of the property and all its visitors and occupants. Until we receive some measure of clarity or lifting of the economic and travel restrictions, this operational plan will remain in effect.
Again, we strongly urge all of our Owners to refrain from traveling to the property. Full-time residents and other non-rental owners should take note of the attached building operational conditions, limitations and requirements that must be adhered to if on property.
We, like the rest of the nation, remain hopefully optimistic that the continuing spread of the virus will soon slow and ultimately recede in time for us to take advantage of the remainder of the season. We are working hard, and will continue to do so, to make sure that happens. Until then, we thank you for abiding by these requirements and look forward to the day that we resume full operational status and welcome all back to the beach.

THE 2020 HOMEOWNERS ANNUAL MEETING WILL BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 6, 2020 AT 1:00pm IN THE 2ND FLOOR CONFERENCE ROOM AT MAGNOLIAS ON 26TH AVE NORTH IN MYRTLE BEACH
Dear Camelot Homeowner,
Please see the schedule to paint the remaining halls and repair and paint the hall ceilings. Oceana is aware of the schedule and will rent units accordingly however, if you are NOT on the Oceana rental program, please shift guests away from these floors on these dates if at all possible. We would like to shut down the entire floor. We may be able to work around any monthly rentals and owners who live onsite. Please let me know if any of your unit(s) will be occupied during the dates below. If not, please block your units accordingly. We have tried to minimize the down time. Also, we will do our best to stay on this schedule. Weather will be our enemy. We here at RAM wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season.
Floors 2 & 3 December 9th -11th
Floors 4 & 5 December 16th - 18th
Floors 10 & 11 January 6th - 8th
Floors 12 & 14 January 13th-15th
Floors 15 & 16 January 20th - 22nd
We will begin the hallway carpet around mid January 2020 for floors 2 through 9. This should not require a shutdown of the floors.

Dear Camelot Owner,
As you may have seen over the past few months the front side (street side) of Camelot By the Sea has become dirty and faded. We are pleased to let you know we have been approved and have selected a contractor to begin the waterproofing project on the building and parking garage. In an effort to have the street-side view of the parking garage addressed first, we will begin pressure washing starting tomorrow April 26th. This should have a minimum impact on guests and owners. It is our intent to have the West, North and South walls completed by June 1st. On a side note we have closed the 10th floor of the parking garage so the contractor can store their materials and rig the building for their work. Periodically, during this process, we will be asking guests and owners to move vehicles on lower floors. If we cannot get the vehicles moved then the contractor will place a car cover over the vehicle(s).
After the garage is complete, the contractor will be handling smaller areas and should not affect the owners or their guests.
We will have more information about Fall schedule in the coming weeks. We will not be painting the ocean front side or deck coating balconies until a later date, potentially in 2020.
