Dear HOA Member:
Please be advised of the following regarding Hurricane Isaias:
The most current information regarding the status of Hurricane Isaias and how it may affect the State of South Carolina may be obtained from the South Carolina Emergency Management Division’s website scemd.org.
As a precaution, either you or your rental agent need to do the following by midnight tonight, Saturday (08/01/2020):
Resort Association Management will be utilizing the HOAs’ website, ramresorts.com, and your most current email address on file to keep you informed of developments as they may unfold at your resort.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate through these unchartered territories together. We are eager to be able to return to business as usual, and hope that you are all doing well. We are doing our best to be accommodating as well as adhere to the CDC recommendations. Dear Valued Homeowner,
We hope you and yours are doing well under these unprecedented conditions.
I wanted to take a moment to communicate an update on Dunes Village and Myrtle Beach:
Currently all bars and restaurants in Myrtle Beach are closed except for to-go orders. Our restaurants are both open for to go orders only and we have been doing a fairly brisk business.
Although we have fallen off our historical pace for March revenue, our occupancy has been above average of the market for the first 3 weeks.
We are observing soft demand for the current period through the next 4 weeks. The forecast for April remains a concern although we are optimistic that we will see a declining impact from COVID-19 before the end of the month.
We had recently placed newspaper ads in Charlotte and Greensboro as well as ads in AAA travel magazines. We have several strategies aimed at the summer months that include E-blasts to guest history, google and various PPC marketing. We are confident that we will confront this situation and salvage as much business with aggressive positioning and marketing as possible.
The projects list is just about complete, and the units look great:
Due to the current situation our staff is at skeletal level for service and projects. Sadly, due to the decrease in business, we have had laid off some employees but hope to bring them back very soon.
We are all hoping and praying for a rapid end to this horrible issue and wish everyone to be safe and well.
We will provide another update in the next few days or sooner if necessary.
